me again!!
how do i get in to scan?

i've entered my area , select start scan an it comes up transponder failed!

what have i missed

I'm sorry to say there will be no on line updates

we had it in to try and test but on further discussions with team members it was decided that it wouldn't be used due to legal reason
it will be taken out of the next release

If astra 28.2e is a scanning option then it thinks your box is a sat box not a cable box.
what colour is the top of your box as a cable box is normally grey/silver and a sat box a kind of browny/dark grey and not the same colour as the front of the box.
If you know it's 100% a cable box try putting the image on again.

If you do manage to get the dm500 to output component, does this mean that we can watch ITV HD, and BBC HD, etc????
Because component (Ypbpr / Y/PB/PR / YPRPB / PRPBY / PBPRY / Y/Pb/Pr), is capable of outputting 1080p

what 500c images output like this ?
I use the component plugs and would like a play (so longs as it's not gemini as my box is a clone)

i use the dw 2.1 on component connection scart-rgb lead ,great picture

sorted it again, but the channels are not clearing? i get the free view ones.

I thought this was a Feedback thread not help thread ?, anyway i tried this image and working great only tried it for a day, the picture aint as sharp as laky image on dbox using RGB oprion, but am sure it will be once a component feature is added, mean while back to older neutrino for now .

Have finally put this onto my dad's box & must say it's looking good. Have set my location for Medway & found all channels inc S*y Box Office Sports & the porn channels. The reboot only works sometimes, you have to pull the plug & one other thing, it will not let me load my service file or boq from my dbox that has been converted to dreambox files. One other thing, if I drop CCcam into emu folder, will it show in the emu menu so I can use i with my sat?

No need to convert dbox2 files just copy them from /var/tuxbox/config/zapit (dbox2) to /var/tuxbox/config/zapit (dream) and reload channels from the service menu.

If it shows then try it and see.

reflashing it again should sort it.
sounds like a bad flash.

flashed it twice with the same result, it worked fine on my box, but won't on my brother's box.
I might have to restore dw 2.1 on to it

backup the image off your box & flash it to your brothers mate
