that is incorrect
the mods are here to control the forum
and are picked because they have the understanding of the admin
if they deem the post is abusive or is against them meaning of the forum
which by the way is a hacking forum
they have the full backing of the admin team to delete /remove or edit any post
so can we get back to what we do best

thats all well and good but as i can see in ur statment you say "POSTS" not full entire threads that have been allowed to run there course!!!!!!

edit threads as well
and if u all look at the top of all threads you can see thread tools
well these r admin/mods tools in it you can see edit /remove
you tick it and then click perfom action
try it
you will get you dont have permission to do it
why cos you are not a mod

right im sorry to say that all explinations i have heard (a few posts were abusive or to talk about religion is wrong) about the threads being closed are complete and utter crap!!!!!! the thread could have easily been sorted out with deleting offensive posts. if it all come to much for all of the 4 modderators of this 1 small section then i would say the mods aint doing there job (or cant). in any case it has left me with a bad taste in my mouth and the feeling of betrail : shocked2 and the feeling my loyalties should not be here with DW. it also makes me consider the kind of debate we can have here on DW in the future (if i am still here) with just as sensative issues.
can i ask the mods to start a poll weather we the loyal followers of DW wanted the whole thread deleting. just a simple yes or no will do, after all alot of time and work was put into the thread by both muslims and non muslims....

ok put it to the vote whats the use of a rant room if you cant rant in it? no point at all if u cant have an opinion without being worried it will be deleted or that you will be banned
no one is forcing anyone to stay here, leave here, rant here, whatever.
