forced update

my m8s box (1000b) is stuck in tune tw area
read a lot about forced update
could someone please point me in the right direction on how to do a forced update

i done my this afternoon thanks to the lads here,but my was a 2000. power off your box,then
1. keep standby pressed in until you the okay sign then
2. press fav - inter -tv guild - tv one at a time in that order then the screen will go black with some wirting comming up the srceen.
i think that was the order?

if its stuck on tune double check your net id and frequency too

if im right and the box is a 1b i think u will find it wont update as peeps where using 1000 dumps on 1ooo 1b boxes because u wouldnt have to do apin 11 mod....heres how to do a forced update=unplug box and while holding standby button..put power back to box u will then c ohay then 0000 now press favourites,interactive,tv guide ,tv and ok on front of box......if it doesnt update try taking the lid of and if theres a wire cut it and try again.......if not u have 1000 dumps in a 1000 1b box so attys will need flashing
