its a Sony KDL-40V4000 bought from comet last week was on sale £599 or £699 with sony blueray player
From what I have read so far I just need a Icecrypt cam like old free x tv one? and then put 079 joker software on it but is a card necessary as well.
Have a few old cams would any of them suit please Magic, dragon, Aston, NP4 Viaccess Freecam.

Got the 32" version of this the other week.
Got a Diablo CAM 2.2 from that auction site, I was lucky enough to be able to borrow a CAS2 to allow me to program it.
Programmed it with Stealth latest version, then dropped a new KEYS.BIN file onto it (Contained details for vi??in etc).
Put into the TV, worked straight away.
SO if you go for a Diablo CAM, drop me an PM, and i'll forward you the files I used.

OK loaded the cam and put your keys in but although the cam is seen by the TV still only getting FTA channels.
Can you give me your cam settings as maybe they are different.
Keys are correct in cam as per latest listings.

At work at moment, so this is from memory
In the CAM Config, I turned the Auto PM off (I think it's called that), and for the CAIDS set it to UK. I disbaled all the other Emulations, make sure it using EMU first then Card.
Look in the KEYS section, go to the list edit, find Nagra, and then your provider
Check your KEYS are upto date, you might need to manually update them.
As I mentioned in the PM, check the provider code, as mine was different to what I expected, i.e. it was 5B00 when i expected 5A00

I assumed you knock up a fun to match the bk-key on it?
am I wrong.. do you do everything on the cam.. or is there 2 ways of doing it.

Some guyz have it going with a diablo cam but as yet have not had any luck myself .No card needed just a special keybin file flashed to cam..
I also have a dragon cam so if anyone has a predator269 file with it on it please pm me.

@Shep - What is your CAM Flashed with ?
You should be able to do it on the CAM itself, but you will have to enter the keys when they roll.
You can program the CAM with your own made up BK, and then make your own fun or mosc.
I have a 32" version working with the Stealth image.

and all have this big slot thing at the back which i think takes a cam
sorry to be such a newbiw but clueless on this a
also when i look a the cams on the net it just looks like a card slot where would u connect the feed from the cc company

dvb-t tuners have this slot also if u want cable u will need a tv with a dvb-c tuner not just a cam slot, my toshiba 37" lcd has a slot but no dvb-c tuner

Only the top end Sonys W and Z series not sure about the lower models in the Bravia range have it 'cos they are European universal sets most of the other manufacturers use the cheapest local tuner for the area the sets are sold in, E.G. U.K UHF only .
thing is mate, tv is not here yet, its a new model , will be here next week I think.
I have a zeta blue cam pre-flashed with nagra and boxkey at the moment .
I have also got a satbox doing nowt upstairs.
so until I get the telly , i have not done anything yet
