Was just going to post saying I managed to get it working and seen your post.
Whats the different anyway? Just interested and want to learn more lol.
About 76 mins .... Hope it goes well lol.
Think a game of 2 of Fifa is needed while i wait.
WOOOOP!! its flashed.
Just put Rats Bouquets on using dreambox edit, i can see all the channels, but cannot see any of them. says Service unavailable, check tuner configuration.
Did abit of googling and it seemed was not looking at any satellite.
Changed it and it's working.
But are the configurations below correct?
Configuration Mode: Advanced
Satellite : Astra 1N/2A/2B/2F/Eutelsat 28A (28.2e)
Changed LNB to LNB 1
Priority : Auto
LOF: Universal LNB
Voltage Mode: Polarization
Increased voltage: yes
Tone Mode: band
DiSEqC Mode: None
@Rat i thought it just connected out of luck, so didnt want to disconnect it and if it didnt work using web browser, plug it in for it to not work again ha.
Aah cool, thanks. If you just have a sky dish setup your tuner like this
Configuration Simple
Single
28east
Aah cool, thanks.
Just like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that helped.
Truly amazing people.
I got there in the end, With the advice from the experts of course.
now to experiment with plugins and stuff.
Haha that's enough for the evening i think lol.
Quick one guys, everytime i restart the box it asks me to reinitialise.
After i Initialise the HDD, then i hit blue --> blue --> Devices Manager --> red (Mountpoints) and made sure it is mounted to /media/hdd
Save and restart.
Once it boots back up, it's lost it again. :err:
Think i've figured it.
I had to edit /etc/fstab and add the line below then reboot
/dev/sda1 /media/hdd auto defaults 0 0
strange that i have never had that problem after initialize it always finds the drive and need do nothing else..
UNLESS you have TSPANEL installed..Great plugin but the root of all evil for Hard drives plus a few other things..I had heaps of problems and was pulling out my hair as nothing made sense then was told to remove tspanel if i had it (cheers wiz)which i did and all my problems ceased to exist.
What does TSPANEL do anyway?
I'll have a look when i'm home later on to see if I've got it.
