Cannot upload image using Web Interface. Click flash, it does nothing

when you get the null cable flash the Bootloader first as this is a very small file, you could then try to flash the image via browser, may save yourself some time :)
if that fails then you need to flash the image via null cable

:)

good luck, it's all fun :)

Is that the correct dreamup for your box?

Ive only ever used this once lol so I'm not much help any more

Managed to get it working on version 1.3.3.4

Was just going to post saying I managed to get it working and seen your post.

Whats the different anyway? Just interested and want to learn more lol.

About 76 mins .... Hope it goes well lol.

Think a game of 2 of Fifa is needed while i wait.

did you try the bootloader first ?
could've saved a bit of time if it worked ;)

Is more suited to the older models dreamboxes newer version were tweaked for the later models. In theory all version should work but in reality that's not the case and more so where clones are concerned.

The fixed no ca version is just a tweaked older version of DreamUP where you can force activate the flash button.

No really needed in your case.

WOOOOP!! its flashed.

Just put Rats Bouquets on using dreambox edit, i can see all the channels, but cannot see any of them. says Service unavailable, check tuner configuration.

Did abit of googling and it seemed was not looking at any satellite.

Changed it and it's working.

But are the configurations below correct?

Configuration Mode: Advanced
Satellite : Astra 1N/2A/2B/2F/Eutelsat 28A (28.2e)
Changed LNB to LNB 1
Priority : Auto
LOF: Universal LNB
Voltage Mode: Polarization
Increased voltage: yes
Tone Mode: band
DiSEqC Mode: None
@Rat i thought it just connected out of luck, so didnt want to disconnect it and if it didnt work using web browser, plug it in for it to not work again ha.

Haha that's enough for the evening i think lol.

Quick one guys, everytime i restart the box it asks me to reinitialise.

After i Initialise the HDD, then i hit blue --> blue --> Devices Manager --> red (Mountpoints) and made sure it is mounted to /media/hdd

Save and restart.

Once it boots back up, it's lost it again. :err:

glad you got it mate

just love it when it comes together

Try menu-setup- hard drive

Initialize it there then mount it again as you described above

Think i've figured it.

I had to edit /etc/fstab and add the line below then reboot
/dev/sda1 /media/hdd auto defaults 0 0

strange that i have never had that problem after initialize it always finds the drive and need do nothing else..
UNLESS you have TSPANEL installed..Great plugin but the root of all evil for Hard drives plus a few other things..I had heaps of problems and was pulling out my hair as nothing made sense then was told to remove tspanel if i had it (cheers wiz)which i did and all my problems ceased to exist.

What does TSPANEL do anyway?

I'll have a look when i'm home later on to see if I've got it.

Its kind of a all in one go to tool plugin but is well documented to cause alot of problems with dm.
