Having been a user of the Sportster 1.05 image for the last year or so and in the event of the recent Keyrolling issues I thought it was the right time to try a new image, So I chose the 1X version of this Laky Pro Image.
After using it for several days I can say the following about it....
It does produce a very nice picture, on a SD CRT TV the picture is superb a noticeable difference in quality from my old Sportster image(1.05).
There are a few nice little added touches in this that I was not used to having in the Sportster image and also included a few different themes, one of them being a Virgin Media theme which I thought was useful as I always adjusted my colours to match that of VM anyway so this made it easy.
Speed: I found this image to be very quick and responsive indeed. I could move up and down channel listings very quick without it going off on it's own when you let go of the button on the remote because you've held it down to long.
However, this image does have it's downsides (for me anyway). The LCD-EPG (gimmick or not?) didn't work even after trying the fixes in this thread but maybe thats work in progress? The main problem I have with this image though is the ability to use it for watching TV!! I found that it just got too annoying, If I was on one channel for to long it would freeze and other times if I changed channel I would get audio but no picture?! Sometimes the latter issue would be fixed by simply changing the channel up and then down again but other times it would require you to do this several times before the picture comes back.
I have also read a few other posts from people with this issue but I am yet to see a fix, I have tried the two usual ucodes 001A and 0014 which on my previous images worked fine but they made no difference to the problem on this image. None of the other ucodes made a difference either. I have also tried enabling eNX watchdog but I am not entirely sure what this does? Still no difference in reliability.
I am aware that different images behave differently on each box and can also be more reliable in certain areas but I was just a little disappointed that after having such a nice feature set and picture quality with image it failed in the main area for me and thats reliability.
Please don't think I'm moaning it's just constructive criticism and at the moment I have no idea how to create my own image from scratch so therefore I can't moan too much but if I was to create one my first concern on testing would be everyday performance and reliability.
I will keep up to date with this thread and try any fixes/adjustments etc that you think I should try.

P.S Sorry about the lengthy post!! :-S
