### All New "AU Fixed" Laky-pro-1 !! ## #

Hello all...
I flashed this image a few days ago after getting fed up of manualy inputting keys. All has been fine until today, for some reason i switch to certain chanels and i get sound and no picture, a quick reboot and the pic is back..
Don't really want to be having to reboot all the time so i wondered if anyone could shed some light on this....?
I also notice that the image only comes with Evocamd, i always used to use MGcamd but like i say i haven't had a problem with the Evocamd til today..
Ucode is still the same at 001A

Been having this issue since I updated the nagraepr and the nagrarom files, but I think it was ok when I updated the nagrarom files only (BigMaq ones).

When the picture is off but the sound is on, just changing up one channel and back down fixes the problem for me. Its a small glitch and maybe something to do with the new nagra files.

I may restore the old nagraepr and nagrarom files later and see if that helps.

Could someone say if they are required for the AU as mine updated with only the BigMaQ rom files added.

Note: Ucode 0014 and still the same problem.

Thats strange as mine hung today but only on the scrambled channels, I restarted box and all was well.

Thats not a complaint though !

:)

ucode change via the blue button system

Finally got round to installing the image, and without doubt a brilliant image and great work by the guys once again.

Had the vintage sportster image on for about 3 years ago with whole host of problems. New image has resolved every single one, no freezing no distortion no hanging no nothing. Plus nice new themes.

Btw, first time I ever messed with the dbox see my new thread for details and it is suitably named.

Any reason why the yWeb interface has the remote & OSD crossed and greyed out? I used to use this when messing with the box upstairs from my pc, saved me running up and down......., at this rate i'm gonna get fit!

Think you need boxhot and fbshot available in downloads

sorted! Thanks Priesy, I can go back to being unfit again!

Now if only I could get that LCD-EPG working.........

Great, superfast image. Many, many thanks guys. Just one question - how do you edit bouquets in this? I currently have one long list of channels (sorry if this is obvious, I'm still learning....)

We all have to learn m8. Always worth checking the downloads for any guides/tools though
Bouquet Wizard

Go into settings in bouquet wizard, and set the IP of your box. Next go Import/Export, and import your channel list from the box. Now spend a couple of hours sorting out your channel list into the correct bouquet, then export it to your box. It will ask if you want to do a channel list reload, select Yes.

Then export your list again but this time to your hard drive, and you have a nice baseline stored for the future.

Downloaded your image and gonna flah it tonight. Will it give the box a different password than my current sportster image.

Having been a user of the Sportster 1.05 image for the last year or so and in the event of the recent Keyrolling issues I thought it was the right time to try a new image, So I chose the 1X version of this Laky Pro Image.

After using it for several days I can say the following about it....

It does produce a very nice picture, on a SD CRT TV the picture is superb a noticeable difference in quality from my old Sportster image(1.05).

There are a few nice little added touches in this that I was not used to having in the Sportster image and also included a few different themes, one of them being a Virgin Media theme which I thought was useful as I always adjusted my colours to match that of VM anyway so this made it easy.

Speed: I found this image to be very quick and responsive indeed. I could move up and down channel listings very quick without it going off on it's own when you let go of the button on the remote because you've held it down to long.

However, this image does have it's downsides (for me anyway). The LCD-EPG (gimmick or not?) didn't work even after trying the fixes in this thread but maybe thats work in progress? The main problem I have with this image though is the ability to use it for watching TV!! I found that it just got too annoying, If I was on one channel for to long it would freeze and other times if I changed channel I would get audio but no picture?! Sometimes the latter issue would be fixed by simply changing the channel up and then down again but other times it would require you to do this several times before the picture comes back.

I have also read a few other posts from people with this issue but I am yet to see a fix, I have tried the two usual ucodes 001A and 0014 which on my previous images worked fine but they made no difference to the problem on this image. None of the other ucodes made a difference either. I have also tried enabling eNX watchdog but I am not entirely sure what this does? Still no difference in reliability.

I am aware that different images behave differently on each box and can also be more reliable in certain areas but I was just a little disappointed that after having such a nice feature set and picture quality with image it failed in the main area for me and thats reliability.

Please don't think I'm moaning it's just constructive criticism and at the moment I have no idea how to create my own image from scratch so therefore I can't moan too much but if I was to create one my first concern on testing would be everyday performance and reliability.

I will keep up to date with this thread and try any fixes/adjustments etc that you think I should try.

P.S Sorry about the lengthy post!! :-S
