Yes I agree more money for the tax payer to find..never mind just cut disability benefits..
Bet they have already put a claim in for child benefits ha ha..tut tut listen to me.

not quite true though is it? the lads a pilot with the east anglian air ambulance, and donates his salary to the charity..

but lets not let that get in the way of a good story.

Yeah I give him that and has done his bit I suppose..
It's a good way to fly for free keep your hours book up to date and give you something to do...
But yes he has been a rescue pilot flying the now scrapped sea king...so fair play.
Deep down I wish them well.

So basically he does a volunteer job and gets paid for it and gives the money back to look good.

public spending on refurbishing the 20-room central London living quarters of the couple and Prince George has totalled £4.5m over the last two years but royal aides said the cost of internal furnishings, including a new kitchen, had been met “privately” by the duke and duchess..what ever and where did the money come from originally....

I still kind of like the royals but they are quite expensive to maintain.

ive an idea let him keep his wage as a pilot let him live off of that pay tax and take him off the civil list infact why dont we do that to them all .. sounds fair enough to me . as for being a royal basher pmsl im proud to admit id rather a republic than .

He never had been on the Civil list, which by the way was abolished in 2012. His money comes from the Duchy of Cornwall

The thread was about the Cambridges'. However, from the little I have read, it appears that the Sovereign Grant is a percentage of the income from the Crown estates.
The rest of the income goes to the treasury.
The royals gave up the right to the Crown estates in favour of the Civil List a couple of centuries ago.

I didn't intend on getting into a debate as to whether the Royals are worth the money they receive, however I firmly believe they generate a lot more than they cost.
Your links weren't worth opening tbh, the Mirror can't be taken seriously.

Well that's the first 10 pages skipped out of this Mornings paper. That fecker cost me a pound as well. :(
