I too am on Sky Broadband, d/l speed varying between 15 and 28 mbs/sec which is good for non-fibre optic cable - my server uses two lines off Cccam and works brilliantly regardless of whether I'm downloading anything else at same time or not guys!:Hit:

hi phantom thx for the good job m8.
i have TM6900 super path 726
many freesings and blocks on HD channels.
After total restart everything is back ok for a time

Surely the whole point about all of this is WHY are you having to use patch 726P AT ALL mate - surely by now we should have the long awaited UNIVERSAL patch which should encompass ALL the quirks we have had between loads of DIFFERENT patches?
In other words, by now after all the constructive feedback we've all been giving Phantom and Technomate we should SURELY have got a NEW patch with EVERYTHING on it?
Why should we EVER have to decide WHICH patch to use for WHICH particular application?
Its SO ridiculous?:Cool2:

Just to add, if your read my other thread I've gone back to 726 for my 6800 and I'm getting regular scrambling of channels, when I go into 8281 it shows the line is active but disconnected. When I reconnect (green then red button) the stb reboots (why?) then the line reconnects once it restarts. I went back to 726 coz latest patch wouldn't run 2 clines at once (but is would run a cline and an nline at once?) and another member recommended 726.

It would be great if new patches evolved in a way so that such problems would be ironed out, but at the end of the day Technomate or Phant0m have no obligation to supply these patches. Although if patches wern't readily available then how may of us would be using a Technomate!

Absolutely correct mate - and please god they DO carry on producing the much appreciated patches - but at the end of the day, what is the point in producing patches if they cant get it right after so long at trying, because if a things worth doing its worth doing well surely?
I truly hope they DO keep trying all the same, because as you say, where WOULD we be without them, just as it was with our friend Compass immediately before Phantom took over?

Hi m8

I had the same problem if you connect more then 3 newcamd lines + 2 CCcam problem TM68/69 start to reboot,

that why I run one line to stay stable and uses cccam and all the packages are all open with one line m8

Hi Phant0m

The Blind scan on the TM5402HD still finding high symbol rate 45,000 when low symbol rate is in use,
In testing ver 1.18p there is no improvement in the blind scan,

Example on Telstar 11N @ 37.5 west this active transponder 11657H 5880 in DVB-S2 when I scan with the TM5402HD the receiver finds 11660H 45,000 that is not an active transponder as it is an error,

This has been a problem with the blind scan with ver 1.17p & all previous software versions when the blind scan finds a low symbol rate below 6000 it gets confused sometimes & gives a reading of 45,000

A better blind scan configuration will probably solve this recurring error in the data found with the current blind scan software,

If you could change the blind scan to this more advanced version Blind Scan Configuration it will help with the low symbol rate capture that was easy to find on the TM1000/5000 SD series,

Full symbol rate scan in 8 MHz
Full symbol rate scan in 4 MHz
1,000 to 5,000 symbol rate scan in 3 MHz
5,000 to 10,000 symbol rates scan in 5 MHz

Thank you for your continued support for the TM5402HD I hope my suggestion is beneficial to the continued improvement of the Blind Scan.

@ Phantom:-
Please read my comments here mate, we still cant open C Ned on 19E using new patch 744P and latest softcam!

"Just checked new patch 744P out and YET AGAIN C Ned not opening with latest softcam so my suggestion to copy & paste whatever section of patch 737P where it IS still working to new patch 744P has again apparently been completely ignored!
I really DO despair guys!
Cant really check anything else since we havent been given any guidelines with latest patch as to what may be new, but cant see much different AGAIN"!

Please Phantom, please give us some answers as requested, as it might help us in our repeated total frustration!:

Well I've just tried out new patch no. 745P on my TM6900HD Super - and I honestly can find very little difference between it and 744P!

Working, using latest softcam:-
TNT Sat 19E
Bulsat 39E

EPG seems to 'eventually' (after several minutes waiting) give up to 6hrs on 28E such as BBc!, Sky Sports, etc - so yes as Headwest stated in another thread, the EPG seems WORSE in content than previously!

Still NOT working:-
C Ned 19E (yet all other stbs DO open it - even the dreaded Spiderbox! grrrh!! lol!!)
PLTV 10E still unwatchable as so jerky.
So in short, there's yet again NOTHING new to see - all of which is made much worse as we yet AGAIN have no information attached as to what HAS changed!

I DESPAIR!!!!
Please Phantom mate, what can WE do to help further, as so little of our feedback (which YOU requested!) has been heeded!
We'll do ANYTHING to help, if only you'd let us mate!:Cool2::Mad2:

The dreaded Spiderbox as you say has always opened it flawlessly also PLTV 100%

It wasnt said in a derogitary way mate, just using it as an example of one of many receivers which open C Ned with softcam - maybe the word 'dreaded' may have been a little strong, but at least on here we try to do our best for our trusty Technomates?
So sorry, if it was the wrong word mate!

To be honest I have a Spiderbox 9000 combo along with a TM5302 and TM5402 and find very little difference between the 5402 and Spiderbox. They are both well made receivers, both of a high build quality and both work well. The remote with the 9000 combo (also the 9000 but not the 7000) is a really great one and can be programmed to operate Spiderbox/VCR/DVD/TV.
The 5302 is really a "budget" version of the 5402 and not quite up to the standard of the Spiderbox or TM5402 but still a very nice simple to use receiver.
It's a case of swings and roundabouts all receivers have their good and not so good points, what you like in one receiver may be missing from another receiver and the reverse is also true.
I like and use all my receivers and all do a great job!!

Hi Phantom;

I just installed path745P on my TM6900 super.
In the beginning i have a few times a block. Now its running ok.
Few points, i have no langer possibility to uptdate a path with USB or Update cccam with usb.
I have to connect a serial to my pc for this. Keys and channels i can update from usb.
Canal nl works good still now.

Keep on the job m8.

Think you must have done something wrong mate, hope you've followed all the instructions on here about how to update your patches?

Hi Holmroad.

Its not the first time i path my tm.
Can you update with path 745 with usb stick?
The only thing i see on usb is update key or channels not path?

Yes mate, you can use memory stick butv you have to follow a very specific route to ensure no extraneousv rubbish is left on your TM before loading the patch, as hasc been discussed/explained so many times on here!

Here is what I do (as per my friends on here!):-
1) Back up Channel list.
2) Before patching, carry out complete Factory reset
3) Load latest 'original' TM6900 firmware as issued by TM - think its still 743 (without the 'P' - for patch!)
4) Factory reset again
5) Load latest patch (745P here!)
6) Load 'Add-on' firmware
7) Factory reset again
8) Load latest softcam
9) Load on Channel list from 1) above

Off you go, you may have to re scan many packages as you go, but personally I rarely do!
See how you go mate, let us know please!
