New Spiderbox - What are thoughts on this box?

from all of the spiderbox users i have come across, i dont think there are enough of them to warrant a whole new subforum (but that is just the guys i have come across)


i tell you what the forum does need though,
a cccam section, all the posts related to it are separated bewteen the 2 technomate sections, dreambox section, sky uk section and european satellite section and imo they dont really belong there.

Spiderbox has had 14 patches since december.

Loads of cccam versions, bugs cleared, providers added to gift, etc

All that is looked into and needs patching as new emulators always demand more from software. Do not forget, cccam devolopers are aDream multimedia directed and try to make it harder with every new version for non dreambox machines.

14 patches means addressing problems as they arise. With that i don't mean biss keys updates roud:roud:

i agree.
it might do, but it doesnt necessarily mean there is anything majorly wrong with the box, just that they are constantly improving it. but then again, who knows.

I WILL TRY MY BEST TO DO IT for them... like another nice Gift ...When i says all of you i have in mind Genuine Members and costumers not competitors...They are not happy if we do improvements and with success of spiderbox and not happy here even to have a spiderbox section.lol ..all ways i mean Competitors not Genuine members..

updated the nano in emu ,so with the softcam with new irdeto 2 keys, so we can clear nova 13*E,bulsatcom 39*E and canal digitaal 19*E

The delete function on radio settings problem is fixed .

Changelog:

CCcam:
Info button twice - now shows the version of CCcam used by the server you connect to.
CCcam connections improved. - 2.1.2 optimized, 2.1.3 and 2.1.4 coming soon.

Channel Manager:
When selecting channels for move/lock/delete the cursor now moves down automatically to the next channel.
"All" option added to delete function for TV/Radio in channel manager.

Satellite Search:
Remains on the scanned satellite regardless of the satellite it was on before a scan.

1. /When deleting transponders on a satellite the cursor stays with the progress made by the last deleted transponder.

2. /Deleting TV channels process shortened in channel manager.

3. /ECM time added. Press info button twice. Works only when using CCcam to view. Completely accurate only with gift turned off.

4. /Server and Hop information added for CCcam users. Press info button twice. Works only when using CCcam to view.
Remains on the scanned satellite regardless of the satellite it was on before a scan.

While watching a channel and press ' info ' button shows frequency as ' 11681H '. Now improved; shows as ' 11681 H 27500 '.

Since the spiderbox was announced on a###t as 'coming soon' people asked could it host a card, and theyve been asking ever since.

If you look through the other sections of digitalworld, youll notice that the forum layout itself evolves to meet members requirements, as interest in a section dies off, the section is moved to a less busy area, as interest in a certain subject grows, new sections are created to meet this interest, which is why the cable sections have been the biggest, and other sections grow over time. Maybe if enough members owned a spiderbox, a section dedicated to it could be warranted, otherwise the forum would be made up of empty, unused subforums

how come when i post on your house bobi as you refer to it al*at asking for conformation the spiderbox could in the future become a server
question aimed at you darkman
that admin close the thread stating you are far to busy to answer that question do they no you are busy on here !!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Spiderbox 9000HD.

While it is not perfect by any means, for me, its good value for money.

The "gift" channels" have been going for four months now and the HD picture quality is excellent. When channels go down, its normally fixed reasonably quickly.

I am also running Cccam glitch free. Maybe I am a lucky one, but apart from the occasional box reboot, it never freezes on Cccam.

All that being said, I am looking at buying TM-600 to start to learn the capabilities of linux receivers.

i understand that however why wont he post on his forum with same message i am sure as most spiderbox owners visit it, they would welcome the news instead of being left in the dark and everyone else is told ???

What I dont understand is why cant members ask problem questions on the other fourm where this box comes from.

I dont know bobi so can not comment on the guy but if people are to take this box seriously then the good and the bad should be posted on the other forum as well as here.

Take the bad point on the chin and make it better and listen to the customers. Doing this is free advertising for the masses and surely gain a bigger following.

It just does not look good that promoters of this box dont allow this on the other forum.

I for one will buy a box based on over whelming positive reviews. So far this box gets mixed reviews.

Its good to have a forum like this that will allow anybox to be reviewed and given its own section should it attract enough of a following.

This way we can all make informed decisions and not get slung a donkey

can anyone explain the whole "gift" thing to me, do you connect to remote servers or are they all emu'ed ?

it's always seemed to me like a way to hide a pay server and make the money coming from it easier to move about as its being paid to a "legit" product that just happens to have a "gift", that if you were to buy on it's own would be illegal ?

doesn't the version with "gift" cost more then without so it's not even really a "gift"..

i don't own a spiderbox nor know anyone personally, and haven't looked into it much so i could be wrong..

I do not know why is not allowed to other forums....but from what i see they are people REAL cosutemers they complain or have problem and been help in those forums ..more then Here many people like change the real discussion...and pass in personal Atack,.....


We did not got no one for donkys.....actually is other competitor is trying advertise ENIGMA 2 from 8 months and will sell to in future a copy Spiderbox .

I think its a way of selling subscription tv
without selling tv if you see what i mean
the legal onus then would fall on the end user ie spiderbox owner
however a very clever marketing ploy

bobi, i think what the other member is trying to say is that when a negative comment is posted, the mod/admin team are very quick to remove the post / thread and sometimes the member as well

if you search through the spiderbox forum, or al##t forum, there are very few posts compared to the number of members on record, and even less negative posts towards equipment. no equipment is 100% perfect for everyone, even things that are designed to be idiot proof, like the sky EPG has its customers that complain and cant use it

here, all comments about equipment are given equal space, good or bad, and left for others to make a decision based upon other members experience with the equipment, instead of only being able to read one side of a story
