There's no problem with renaming the iconfile.png to exactly match the channel name in services.xml - in fact, the instructions tell you to do this if any icons don't show!

You won't get the Vol bar showing in the LCD while LCD-EPG is active, m8. I don't see this as a big deal, since you get a volume bar on screen for a few seconds when you change volume. In any case, I always have dbox volume on Max- and do the Volume via the TV.

With a universal 4in1 R/C, this is easy- as it has a volume punch-through feature, so the Vol +/- keys always do the TV even though the R/C itself is in dBox mode.

Here's my latest Channel Icons library for neutrino, guys. Bang up to date, including Thursday's expected additions- but no pr0n channels and no Radio (I have better things to do).

Any non-working ones will need their filenames edited to match exactly the channel name in your services.xml file. But you know this by now, LOL!

You mentioned earlier about not having volume & duration at the same time if LCD EPG is enabled, is there a way to turn that feature off?

Retrograde step if you ask me- lose LCD program title, just to see a Volume bar? I think you're Mum needs to have a serious look at you!

You can toggle LCD-EPG on and off 'on the fly' in the Blue button > Blue menus. The current setting becomes the default when rebooted, too.

Our box is miles away from the couch anyway so you can see a shaded box but you cant read the screen in detail.

fast scans for me - has it put the NET ID frequencies in on the scan screen? after you've set you location it MUST reboot. then check the scan screen AND choose the right provider (Virgin Media)

Had a problem with the commentary for some time now & it's got to the stage where it's getting on my nerves now.

I know how to turn off the commentary on channels where the voice narrates what's going on (green button), but when i restart the box (which is done daily) i have to turn the commentary off again is this supposed to happen or is there something i've missed?

Sadly, yes. Top of my wish list for a year now: Menu option that globally turns AD On / Off and keeps that setting.

If VM can do this on their subbed boxes, then it means that the audio facility in their stream exists to do it.

The problem is, try to get ze Germans to build it into Neutrino and Enigma CVS for us... Cheers- AL

Don't know the current cvs situation but I seem to remember that barf's page had a zapit diff for saving audio pid's.

Maybe someone could look into it.

Does seem that images built from about April this year onwards no longer remember the audio pid settings. It's a pain as some newer images are really nice, but it's a hold back for switching to them full time.

all the channel icons which are 1kb in size appear in the info bar but the ones which are 2kb in size appear in the top left of the screen instead ?

any body else having the same problem ?

ALL images are Flash w/o Bootloader without exception, m8. After unrarring or unzipping, the image should be exactly 8,257,356 bytes in size- no more and no less!
