X Link Kai setup help

Hi All,

On Friday I received my new 360 RGH console (Thanx Oggy) and I have successfully setup FSD and have installed some games to my 120GB internal HDD. What I cant seem to get right is xlink kai however. I can get the console to see the kai engine on my PC, but unless windows firewall is off, whenever I try to connect, kai will just disconnect on my PC.

Following the instructions, I have forwarded 30000 UDP from my router inbound and outbound so that bit is ok, I have also created the same rules inbound and outbound via windows firewall but it is still happening. Does anyone have any pointers as to what to try. The OS running kai is windows server 2008

I'll have a go later on, is there a small tut for connecting and what it can actually do? on line play with fellow jtag users?

Hi dibbers,

Yes there is. Just google xlink Kai and search for the quick start guide. It's all on there. Hopefully with the RGH we can get loads of us on there soon!

Right Click Kai, Configuration

Enable Pat

Check Allow Remote UI Connections .
