i believe that the codes for ss and rh should be avalible to everyone as we all contribuit in one way or another, so can you revise your closed room, as you will get a lot more donations if the codes where there for everyone. they would donate as you would be giving them the codes, even if you had it so that if you don't donate after getting codes 5 different times you should donate or get banned.thanks

This site exists because of people's contributions and is a community of sharing. Its not here to provide codes for people who come by wanting them.

Its a bonus not a service.

As all are aware the codes are kept out of the way of members who just come here for the sole purpose of leeching and not giving back, if you contribute to the forum, and it doesnt have to be by donation, then you would be allowed access without a problem. with a post count of 1 this one then you have a bit of cheek posting wanting something and giving nothing in return. there are many who have access who post only so your point is also null and void.

the origanal reason it was put into a closed room was because the Keygen got sold on Ebay,and Dommac wasnt happy with it being in an open forum for all to grab

I totally agree with dommac. There are other forums that have stopped offering the codes purely due to the server load on Sunday's by non-contributers. As you can read this thread without having to be logged in, then placing the codes back here would simply add extra server load from those wanting to grab codes and not give anything.

In my opinion:
- if people don't want to crontribute to DW now, having the codes in public will not change their opinion on this.
- any forcing donation for codes is bad. Its about giving back not some form of PPV.

At present people who contribute to the site are allowed in to the code-room, this is mainly by participating in the forums and so showing you are an active member of the community. The donating-for-access option is there because not everyone has the time/inclination to participate in the forum (or are impatient to get in) and so donating money contributes to the real-world server costs of the site.

Susan, I do hope you come back in this thread and share your thoughts. I'm glad most people's replies have been civil, as there are probably many new members who come here without understanding why we have this situation, or misguided to think they are provided as part of a money making scheme.

If it is only codes for porn & football I think that I can live without it.

However, I am intrigued to know why so many people are wanting access so I would greatly appreciate if someone could describe what is contained in there.

I dont have freeview so dont have access but rumour has it that its like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory........maybe a MOD could let you know if this rumour is true. Don't think it has a glass elevator anymore it was taken away due to reckless behaviour by some of the members.

PS i agree with keeping the private members area the way it is iv seen a couple of sites now stop doing the codes coz of people purely logging on to get the games on a sunday which isn't fair on everyone who does contribute on the whole forum.

Effectively that is all it is, just the codes. Everything else regarding digTT tends to be out in the public forum (no reason for general banter to be in there).
