TMC Jtag 4010-N no go!!! correct points

i brought one from tmc mine works fine i tried it on a 4010 got the ird and bk straight away (im new to this aswell so if i can do it anyone can) the only thing i did before connecting my jtag was cut tb then i jumpered it let it update then jtagged it no problems


the only problem with tmc is it takes a long time to get your stuff

hi m8 all thats been done every thing from the talk back to the shorting of battery to the boot up and the L20 to the L40 bit to the wating for the green light and the 0 bit and the net id and freq and the sdk with the right bytes and mac mot running in the background BUT STILL THE SAME ERROR sorry about the shout but head is banged in now

the only other thing i can think off is a big hammer ...... sorry thats not funny but i been there with the head bangin and pulling hair out

have you been in bios ? find your port parrelll port and set it to EEP mode.

i had this problem how i sorted it was i got hold of an old p3 computer
i came to the conclusion the computer was to fast

and i did have xp on the p3

just a thought go into bios and change the port ECP Mode or EPP

try both

Vcc is to pin 2
looks like you got it soldered onto pin 1 in in picture you posted

Yes your right Starfish.

But I read the Jtag walk through Tut a long time back and it said,

Pin 1 or 2 = VCC (Yellow) only solder to pin 1 or 2 not both

So don't think that's the Problem + the Jtag in my Pic worked 100%

Ah ok never heard that i am following this thread cause i got same problem
i read in earlier posts aboot pin 8 to 15 on jtag being joined i have jabs tag
so i need to join pin 8 to 15 is that the ones that say r8 and r15
