OK her's the thing, I am watching this DU meter and when downloading it stays right low but as soon as open a web page though it jumps up to full BB speed.

So could my ISP be blocking php ect ??

It sounds like your isp is at the root of the problem somehow m8...u have the speed at times...i would be asking them why not all the time...

Yeah I have e-mailed em once or ten times, but it's a pound a min to call em

Well I can say I haven't had much trouble off them since the middle of December.
I was promised that from January the line would improve as they didnt expect the amount of new & old customers they got when they started the 1.1mb connection.
