Starview hd combo (no lan)

Hi I have a starview hd combo, just got it off ebay, have I bought a brick or can I update it? its software version f4.04, ldr: ver 00.21 and hardware Ver 01.20, last update feb 12 2010. I Tried to update it with Grooverider F3.50_1118.uad, but it cept coming up with error in middle of loading, do you have to do a factory reset before trying to update? or is it the wrong software or? it updated the loader ok, thats all. I'm not to good with these things, it took me ages to get my head around the euro vox. Thanks in advance for any help. G

maybe you should do a little home work before you buy,why waste hard earnt cash,if non lan i think itll be a brick,but could be wrong

Just saw the update software on offer and I did'nt now about the difference between lan and no lan, I see its about shareing now, I thought they were stand alone like the old euro vox.
