splitter

hi i was wanting 2 split the signal so i cud use the signal in another room aswell where i cud put my subbed box.

if i was to cut the main cable sumwhere, put to connectors on each side and put a splitter in the middle wud this work? or shud i not cut the cable

If you split the cable be sure to have the tv turned and all power. if you are splitting to have another digital box in another room the chances are the 18 volts from:Cheers::Clap: the ariel will blow the tuner in the second box if you do not have protection against a power surge.Do not cut the acble until you have someone to check first if a surge will blow your other box.:Cheers:

No need to cut your feed... Just attach the splitter to the current cable, then the 2 new co-axials from there.

If you need a splitter they are available from ScrewFix, homebase and B&Q or via ebay.
