I've seen this info posted on other places, there is rumour of a new image in development, heres the details so far

This is true, and I am one of the people behind it.

We should have a RC tomorrow.

The rumour about space in /var are all wrong, there is a setup script to remove unessecy modules from the kernel like IDE, CIFS, NFS if you don't use them and remove all the available modules you should have about 2.7MB free:

well it depends really the reason for the lebelo project is to progress the idea of a ukcvs
and encourage image creating. from a rock solid uk base.

yes there would be no place for sombody wishing just to leach to obtian pay tv for free.

but there would be a place for anyone intrested in tuxbox development.

this is Nitr8's image m8 (which after 1st relise will be handed to a team ) im just gonna tag along and see if i can learn somthing like most of us do. the consept is simple it dont matter who, what, when wich site you belong to we are all invited to contrubute what we can. we have already seen uk developers code go into the cvs in the past months, where as before it wouldnt of gone in.

I have had a pre realse of this image on my box it is rock solid , its very slim and sexy bootup is fast , there is plenty of space to add what i like and leave out what i dont like in a image.

but whats the best thing is the fact its a raw image and it follows the rules of the tuxbox forums. which i think might slow down the amount of leeches that download and dont bother to give back. which is the cause of meny creators and modders in retirment .LOL

I tried this image and just got a kein system on a sagem x1 using ifa and plashing throught the on screen menus.

Anyone else give it a go?

site wasnt suppose to be live yesterday that image has been changed there is a working beta avialible today m8 .
