Hi Guys,

Thanks to all involved in this image.. Ive been off the scene for a good few months, not sure if renwich and hunter007 develop this image anymore or whether nitr8/tapper have taken over?? Either way thanks and great image.

One slight problem though:

Some of the options from yweb don't work properly.

Take a look under > Settings >

Boot Logo
Backup & Restore
Timer Settings

The links are broken.. haveing a peek under the bonnet the .yhtm files that run these pages are missing..

Is there any chance of a root update to fix this? Or even a root update with the new Alpha yweb 2.5.2-a2?

I'd have a go myself but I dont have linux on any of my boxes anymore to recompile..

Are these files present on the 2x install?

@learningtofly- Sorry m8, we're at cross purposes here. The yWeb 2.5.1 that I referred to above is a version that I'm steadily ploughing my way through bit by bit, trying to translate the German bits into meaningful English. This is only to annoy pt-1, LOL!

It's not the same file set as in Commando 9, and I wouldn't expect it to be. Nitr8 is also working on it, using diffs (which are beyond my ken), so I just feed the odd file through here and there, to be used or not- it's up to him (and tapper).

Tapper doesn't exist, by the way. It's nitr8's imaginary friend, but don't tell anyone I told you...

Is it me or is there an EPG issue here? sometimes the EPG is missing for a lot of the channels and other time even though the title of the forthcoming programme is showing when I hit the question mark its says there's no info for the programme.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Why does AIW seem to struggle so much to kill the currently active softcam when the box is put into Standby mode, then restart the cam when the box comes out of Standby?

It's such a hit and miss affair, that none of the current images even use this option any more. Whereas it used to work flawlessly in the good old days...

I'm getting this same problem an awful lot with Blade Trinity too, I was beginning to wonder if it is a Virgin issue or UK image issue. My friends older boxes with Sporster are still working fine.

Assuming you're talking Commando 9.25, m8- LCD EPG works fine for me. It's off by default and nitr8 has got it so it can be switched on 'on the fly' (ie- no reboot nor restart Neutrino needed).

But I believe the Web Interface (and possibly the FTP) servers need to be active too, in order for LCD EPG to work. Cheers- AL
