CD & DVD nero help

hi. ive got the lastest version of nero but ever since i installed ive had nothing but problems. now when i try to erase a dvd it comes up with unspecified recorder error can any one help? also when i tried to burn avi film to dvd goes through usual steps encoding etc but when it trys to burn to disc it jus ejects the disc?

i dont like 7

seems a problem for me as well

i tried nero 6 same problem.nero 7 was working until yesterday when it would not erase disc. any other ideas

i jus copyed and burnt a movie using nero 6 but still cant erase a dvd so ive now not gota clue. any 1 got any ideas?

ive had probs with ver 7 and have gone back to 6 all ok again

coopsvip what dvd writer do u have ?

i have pioneer 106

i know u can only erase dvds rw lol. but been having trouble burning aswell as erasing!

not sure wot make dvd writer is but ive gota fujitsu siemens amilo 8830 laptop if thats any help

compleatly unistall nero from add remove then search for any folders remaining
then reinstall with what version u like
thinking about it now I erased a dvd rw only a week or so ago but Ill check again

im able erase dvds now!!!! uninstalled nero 7 then installed nero 6 unstalled nero 6 then ran nero clean tool then installed nero 7 and all seem to be working again! thanx 4 all the help everyone
