0) ftp file to your box via DCC

1) first make sure you have dvbsnoop in /usr/bin/ (you will need to change the file attributes to 777)

2) then ftp ipk file to /tmp folder and run via the blue panel (Opt/pkt bluepanel/plugins/addons/ipk menu/install) my box just sat and did nothing but it did install i had to reboot it

3) reboot your box to load the new AutoBouquets E2 plugin into the Plugins menu

3) perform a scan on 28.2e satellite so that you have the latest lamedb service file

4) zap to an active channel on 28.2e so that dvbsnoop can read its stream data

5) select AutoBouquets E2 Plugin from plugins menu and then select your SD or HD area.

6) sit back and watch for 5 minutes as your local bouquets are read from the stream

7) Have fun with you new auto generated local bouquets

8) an autobouquets.log file is generated in the AutoBouquets plugin folder so that you can check processed Services, Positions and ChannelID's.

PS) dont forget to backup your current bouquet files first as these will be overwritten by this plugin

This info is for e2 autobouqets channel list....its also the old version, as you don't need dvbsnoop in the latest version

Ok it's a good image..you need to pull the power lead out then press the arrow up key on the front of the box next to the ok button and keep it pressed in....then plug back in

It will then go through your options you need to look for b4t or b4u then press ok.....this will change the boot loader for Hyperion

You will also need the set where the image is installed and boots from, repeat the same but this time you should have different options you need to look for n- Hyperion then hit ok

You can now install the NAND version of Hyperion v4

To upload to your Nbox be sure that you have B4T uboot preinstalled or duo multi uboot.
If you using duo multi uboot change to B4T uboot.

How to install

We need:
Pendrive formatted to FAT32
File with hyperion unzipped see above.


Extract files to your pendrive.
Should be on pendrive 3 files:.....to just the root not in a folder

rootfs.img
uImage
update


Connect your pendrive to receiver. Connect power supply and when on screen is nbox messange pressing arrow up and go to UPDATE than press OK.
Wait until screen show OK. Disconnect power supply and connect again. Pressing arrow up to to N-Hyperion and press OK.

i have also posted the update file you will need it the hyperionandlater_update file you need

Ive done the update and the box says "UpdateOK"
I've restsarted the box but don't see N-Hyperion, only N-Fb
What have I done wrong?

No problem bud....I needed help when I first got my boxes, rats channel list is easy to install..just to get it up and running

I use E2 auto bouquets also as you can set it to auto update and you can set regions. It also uses the channel numbers as sly

I will find the file and post for you





you need to unrar the file, then copy via ftp the file named "enigma2-plugin-extensions-autobouquets-e2_201310201900-r1_sh4.ipk" to tmp/ folder then install via the blue panel..... ipk install



if it wont install you can FTP over then reboot

copy over by ftp the file "autobouquets_e2.sh" to the folder usr/script

and finaly copy the folder "AutoBouquets" to usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions

hi lads probably being a bit cheeky here but would any one mind sharing a backup image for this box,got mine 2 weeks ago and still not setup correctly,problem was that box arrived with image not working so had to flash it again with hyperion 4 pkteam image and after ages trying to get the wifi sorted i finally got oscam on the box then i tried to down load picons and autoboquets but then i noticed my internal memory was running at 99% and shortly after the screen went green and box crashed,when it rebooted the remote wouldnt work with box,so i have reflashed since and still cannot get all on the image,spent hours manually making channel list but the box crashed again and had to flash again and lost all.

hi bluepassat im afraid i aint having much luck installing your image onto usb stick,i have followed your instruction to the part where you exit and select install manager and the top one is sdb1 but the one below is showing the message" load image file to/hdd location" then if i press image instalation the error" please load your image.tar.gz file to hdd location if you want to continue",which makes me think i went wrong at the very start where you say to copy the image to media/hdd ,now when i downloaded your image inside the are two folders bin and boot and i ftp them to media/hdd but it didnt work so next time i open both folders and ftp all the files into media/hdd and no luck this way either,am i doing this wrong?.

No you can't, there is a Hyperion v4.5 for nbox which I have tested, however when I record then try and playback it green screens the box

thank you bluepassat i have got it sorted eventually and have my lines in,altough i had to do a bit of head scratching again as to how you use dcc with the box when running image of usb stick as i couldnt install the wifi stick in the usb slot ?,so i used a homeplug and connected with Ethernet cable to box and used home plug as my wifi gate,it worked any and box is up and running with the great image you provided fully loaded,thanks for your help.

When done back out and select install manager…you should see 2 setting the top one is were to install to sdb1 the bottom should be your hyperion V4 USB image off you hard drive you ftp over

Then press the red button to install the image to USB

If you have a USB stick you must select USH1 to boot into not nand

you can then install as much as you like it also has a lot more swap file

So first, many thanks for all the advice so far. I have one 5800sx up and cruising on HYP4-usb. I built up that image from all the bits that you gave me. This morning, I tried to install your usb backup on a second box but it hangs on "Loading Modules". I booted back into nand to re do but the boot sequence only goes as far as "PLi BKT & B4 Team" and 0% loaded. Any idea what going wrong?
