Ran reg clean, rebooted and my pc is askin for a password to log on, I only put one on once before and that was ages ago, Ive tried every password I know but to no avail, How the hell can I get round this.

Have you tried F8 and safe start then in as administrator and reset the password.

Leavin blank didnt work and the F Keys are all gunged up kids eh, just in process of changin keyboard, back in a mo

Ok hit f8 and start in safe mode, still askin for passwords on admin and user. Tried f8 and start windows with last known working configuration and it worked Phew, thanks for the speedy response guys and the kids have got some pocket money to spend now on a new keyboard lol.
i assume its xp therefore try this -- at the log on prompt you will have user name *** and then password .
Now press control alt del twice -- this should give you a blank user name / password screen
Hopefully no one has entered an administrator password so .... enter user name administrator and pess return -- a lot of people don't set this password and its helped me sort out friends quite a lot -- hope this helps
