I'm looking for a cheap Freeview PVR for my mum, nothing fancy or too techy, simple basic layout :)

She is still using a VCR bless her

thanks for any links

Humax seems well-recommended for olders? A one-box solution is often better but that may be too much and the ones I've seen just have a Humax built in.

If she is open to a monthly subscription the BT Youview box is easy to use.

I have been watching a few of the YouView boxes on eBay and some finish at a reasonable price

I brought one myself a while back and use it for recording and catchup most days :)

I do think thats my best bet tbh but just wondered if there was a cheap pvr out there, but I haven't seen one myself lol

Thanks @Him Her
