Audio problem

I've installed the neutrio image from ruDbox. The problem I've got is that the default audio stream for Sly Movies is AC3, I can get audio by changing over the stream. However, when I change channels the audio stream changes back. I think there is a file permission wrong on the box (set to read only) any ideas?
