THE CIRCUIT BOARD YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE MADE OR ETCH YOURSELF USING
PRESS N PEEL ETC.
REFER TO THE EEPROMV3 DIAGRAM FOR CONNECTION DETAILS.
THIS BOARD WILL ONLY WORK ON SA8602V1 DECODERS AS FAR AS I KNOW.
MADE TO TRY AND PUT AN END TO ECM PROBLEMS.

UNPLUG THE DECODERS PPV 11 WAY CONNECTOR.
PLUG THE TEST BOARD INTO THE CONNECTOR WITH PIN 1 NEAREST THE FRONT OF
THE BOX.
CONNECT FLY LEAD FROM PIN 1 OF THE 16F84 TO PIN 1 OF THE DECODERS
EEPROM OR MASTER AS I WILL REFER TO IT FROM NOW ON.

ON POWER UP THE LED WILL FLASH ONCE, THE BOARD WILL THEN READ FROM THE
MASTER EEPROM AND WRITE THE ENTIRE CONTENTS TO THE SLAVE EEPROM.
AFTER THE READ/WRITE IS COMPLETE THE LED WILL STAY ON FOR ABOUT 30 SECS
USE THIS FEATURE TO READ THE DEFAULT/ORIGINAL CODE BEFORE ANY
MODIFICATION IS DONE TO THE DECODERS EEPROM.
YOU CAN USE THIS CODE LATER TO DEFAULT THE DECODER BACK TO EXACTLY AS
IT WAS BEFORE TEST CHIP FITTING.

ON POWER UP THE LED WILL FLASH TWICE, THE BOARD WILL THEN ACT EXACTLY
AS THE OLD MAGIC.HEX CODE.
ON COMPLETION, THE LED WILL STAY ON FOR ABOUT 30 SECS.
THIS CODE OVERWRITES VARIOUS ADDRESSES OF THE EEPROM, I SUGGEST YOU
ONLY USE THIS MODE AFTER YOU HAVE STORED THE EEPROM CONTENTS AS ABOVE.
OTHERWISE YOUR DECODER CANNOT BE DEFAULTED EXACTLY AS IT WAS BY THIS
TEST BOARD.

DATA STORED ON IT'S OWN SLAVE EEPROM AND WRITE THIS TO THE MASTER
EEPROM, THEN THE VARIOUS ADDRESSES ARE OVERWRITTEN IN THE MASTER EEPROM
TO AUTHORISE THE DECODER.
ON COMPLETION, THE LED WILL STAY ON FOR ABOUT 30 SECS.

OBVIOUSLY IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE CONTENT'S OF YOUR MASTER EEPROM, THEN
YOU WILL CORRUPT YOUR DECODER.
SO ONLY USE THIS MODE AFTER YOU HAVE STORED THE DATA AS DESCRIBED IN
SHORT LINK 1.

THE ENTIRE CONTENTS OF THE SLAVE EEPROM TO THE MASTER EEPROM.
ON COMPLETION, THE LED WILL STAY ON FOR ABOUT 30 SECS.
THIS IS INTENDED TO REVERT YOUR DECODER BACK TO IT'S ORIGINAL DEFAULT
CONDITION.
AGAIN, IF YOUR ORIGINAL MASTER EEPROM DATA IS NOT STORED IN THE SLAVE
EEPROM, THEN THIS OPERATION WILL CORRUPT YOUR DECODER.
RECOMENDED ORDER USE

1. FIT LINK 1 AND POWER UP, WAIT FOR LED TO STAY ON.
2. POWER DOWN AND REMOVE LINK.
3. POWER UP AND ALL CHANNELS SHOULD AUTHORISE.
THE TEST BOARD WILL NOT RESET CORRUPTED OR ECM'D DECODERS AS A RULE,
BUT IT IS CAPABLE OF CLONING A VALID DECODER.
HERE'S WHAT TO DO, FIRST FIND AN OPERATIONAL DECODER.
SIMPLY FIT THE BOARD TO A VALID OPERATIONAL DECODER, WITH LINK 1 FITTED
AFTER THE MASTER (VALID) EEPROM HAS BEEN READ, REMOVE THE TEST BOARD
AND PUT INTO THE DECODER TO BE CLONED.
FIT BOTH LINKS AND POWER UP THE DECODER, YOU SHOULD NOW HAVE AN EXACT
COPY OF THE ORIGINAL DECODER, GREAT!!
