I am having a bit of a issue, when i do a turn the power off on my box it refuses to get past "...STARTING" until i reflash it again

Try another image or download image again or from another source then flash sounds like it corrupt..is it with every image or are you flashing same image files every time,?

Also be a help to say what type of box..V1/2/3 or Sunray etc and what image you were running and what image are you trying to flash.

Check - it could be bad contact or bad soldering, I have repaired Dreambox DM800 with same symptoms, this box had one broken trace.

i got that same problem...it worked after soldering and suddely i saw BLACKHOLE on the display and after that only "starting"....

I've had a similar issue. Not sure what it said on display but I'd boot it up... I'd get the splash screen on TV.. But then it'd just spin in top left constantly like it was trying to do something.. But after a new image flash it's fine. Only happened once since I've had it back.. Atleast a month. Quick to fix.

don't know if this is the right thread,sorry if it isn't,my friend tried to replace chip on vusolo2 clone,he has managed to burn a couple of pads off.Is there anywhere he can send the board to be fixed,some type of specialist.any help would be great thanks again.

Nobody knows if it works yet as one of the files mentioned in it,

So I got my chip and my clone is working again - thx everyone in this tread for that! I've flashed latest clone safe vix from downloads but look what I am getting about drivers:

This has been mentioned like a 100 times, the date reported will be the date of the drivers that the image was originally built with and replacing the driver files doesn't alter that date.

We are in need of the dump of the Flash chip, the old one from December 2013 or before, to extract the CFE as we done with this.
