I'm still on commando 8.2, steady image and love it..... but this sounds too tempting to pass up. As i dont do any recording or hdd stuff... and the logos look great.

I usually know what I'm doing but cant get this to work. It doesnt help as I've done this at the time of the key changes that are happening at the moment. I'll try another time, need to put old image back to watch something

Update Patch: uCodes

Thanks to a stupid schoolboy error on my part in the scripts, there is a bug in the uCodes setup. No matter what you're seeing as the current uCode in the boot screen or uCode Menu- the 'real' resident uCode is probably always 001A, which might not suit some peep's boxes.

You can verify the actual uCode in use with a dbox > Services > Check uCodes

So- here is a fully-tested update patch which has bomb-proof support for peeps who insist on swapping between all THREE cams- and corrects the uCode glitch. I'd put some little fi codes in the wrong places, which made the uCode Menu dysfunctional; it wasn't doing what it said on the tin, LOL!

This ONLY took 4 bloody months to come to the surface, ffs!

miniops attached- overwrite the existing one in the /bin folder, ensuring it's still chmod 755 afterwards. No reboot nor Restart Neutrino needed- it will work 'on the fly'.

Hi AL, i've been messing about this image and a few other's and have got to say this has been the easiest to use and most stable i've found.

only prob i've had was green lines down some of my channels but think that was a signal strength thing as it's cleared now, might try n see if there is a way to boost signal strength.
