As title I'm in two minds about getting a 4k TV IV been looking at the samsung ue49ks7000 seems to get good reviews just wondering if any one can recommend a beter one for a similar price or if it's really worth the spend right now

I would suggest you to see and the Android line of Sony TVs!
They have very good picture and a very powerful CPU

He is right, I have a Sony android 4k at 49" and I am very happy. Kodi built in for 4k films the picture is great imo , but I don't have much to compare it to tbh.

That's on my list too, I do like the thought of android for kodi and has decent reviews but the specs are much lower than the Samsung

I'm swaying towards the Sony just mainly for the kodi IV always had a 42" but I'm thinking of the 49" but it could be to big, I have been on richer sounds website doing some research and I think this is the one
Richer Sounds

But this seems a whole lot beter
Richer Sounds

there looks to be some bad reviews there. I must say there was a little motion blur on the sony I have, i got rid of this by turning off smooting and somthing else. the picture did look less sharp after that but not bad and imo blurring is a deal breaker. there was a review saying they couldnt get rid of the blurring on that sammy. might be worth getting a demo at richers? they will do it if you call them and give them warning of your visit.

Just read them there, I have also been looking at outher reviews and user experience and 90% are positive for the Sammy the above I posted is of the 55" I'm looking at the 49" Richer Sounds has a 10bit panel compared to the 8bit + fbc the more reading I do the more confused I get

Called richer sounds they have both the TVs mentioned on display so I can have a look, he recommended a Panasonic also on display so I'll pop in on Thursday and compare

Just to confuse things further, there is a clearance section on the website which might save you a few quid .

Yeah saw that the guy said about the site and some lgs they have that's worth a look same spec as I'm after

I bought a Samsung UE43K7500 a few months back from Richer Sounds. Incredible tv but really wished I had plumbed for the 49" version. I always had 42" before but this new 43" is so slim with hardly any fascia that it appears so much smaller than the original 42" it's replaced.

Yeah I remember you getting it im thinking of the 49" 7000 ( non curve) as it has the 10bit panel and wide color gamut which I'm thinking is a must in full hdr, how is it for motion blur and have you noticed any thing iffy with the pic

No problems whatsoever mate. Mine also has the 10 bit panel, 4k on it is absolutely stunning.

Aye both are the exact same specs ect, nice tvs how's playing off the HDD with the bt2020 4k content, and is it just a standard USB 3.0 drive you use

I've only played back bt2020 through a run of the mill usb 3.0 stick connected to the smart hub so far. No problems at all. Most of my 4k content is through either Netflix or Youtube.

Thats good iv got a few films ready to go and I'll sub a newsgroup and get a whole load more in the next couple of weeks, I'm going down richer sounds on Thursday to have a look at tvs and prob pick one up if in stock

Went and picked up the Sammy today and very impressed with it, can't see any motion blur so far and all looks great I spent about 2 hours in there comparing the 2 I was looking at but in all honestly there was no comparison really, I am having a major issue tho and its that both remotes don't work they have sent a replacement so hopefully I don't have to take the unit back, the unit was a display unit, i got £120 off the price and some extras, I used the sure app IR remote in my phone to set it up, so thinking the issue is the remotes nor the TV

Is it a smart tv? There will more than likely be an app to control it through the wifi on the phone

Have you put the battery's in the right way around [emoji23]

Hisense for me, unless your eyeballs are HD viewers there's not much different from another TV similar specced but at 1/2 the price
