Your Help Needed

I am looking for a program that i can connect to a cars ECU unit from a laptop.The only problem is i don't know the name of a good program and where to get it from also i take it that their would be different leads for different cars.I am only interested in a peugeot 206 2003 one at the moment.One of my relatives having trouble with the car.Are these programs easy to use?Any links or advice here would be highly appreciated.

1x code readers erasers

2x mileage "correction" units. Both can be had on ebay


First one around 40-200

second from 500-2000
