On the solo2 you have said you downloaded plugins but no mention of driver needed if using a usb tuner?

Correct driver to suit usb tuner and install and when box is rebooted with usb tuner it should be seen

Have you configured/set the tuner in tuner configuration?

Are you wanting to make bouquets so that they show up in the channel list?

If that answer is yes,
Do you want to use a plugin to make the bouquets or do you want to use E-Channelizer, DreamBoxEdit or Dreamset.

Can you please try taking a screenshot using the web browser. It will help greatly at the next stages.

A scan should work setup something like the pic below but for your area, save then scan.



AutoBouquets Maker you can set this up to create bouquets for your area providing the tuner is configured. Like the above.

Its not standard in all images so you may have to install it from the images plugin feed. It will then be available under Reception/Tuners & Scanning.

Navigate to Menu-Setup-Service Searching Tuner scanning/Reception-Tuner Configuration.

Do you see the additional tuner there ? If so select it and set it up to your area similar to the image i uploaded. Then save a manually scan.

My friend, the aerial cannot connect to 28.2, that is the satellite dish. PM me your post code if you can't find out.

Anyway, your USB Aerial/Freeview/Terrestrial tuner is not showing on the box. You wont be able to do anything until it is showing

Take a picture of tuner and upload the picture to forum.
Have you installed the drivers?
Did you reboot the box after installing the drivers (This is marked as Restart, not restart Enigma)
After you reboot, please post a screenshot once you are in Menu > Information > About. I have attached my one.

This is not the tuner config menu ive asked you to see if your tuner is visible in.

If you dont see your additional DVBT tuner in there you wont get anywhere.

Did you install the USB turbo drivers on both those boxes ?

If you did remove all usb stuff flash drives etc plug your turbo tuner into another usb slot and do a full reboot.

Check of the tuner now shows.

Yes turbo drivers in both boxes removed usb -- slot one plug in tuner reboot box from mains on off switch tuner not showing do the same in slot two tuner not showing

Please don't reboot box using the rocker switch, things go awry that way including not saving settings. Use the menu.

Restart = Reboots box (Should be done after connecting hardware)
Restart Enigma2 - Restarts GUI.

I read somewhere that there are two types of Turbo tuner.

The Turbo SE needs the dvb-usb-dvbsky-classic driver and should work with all Vu+ boxes.

Check the removal section, if it is there, it means it is already installed.

There is a possibility that the USB tuner is faulty. Can you try your friends USB tuner on your box please? Make sure you put receiver in deep standby before removing the tuners.

Then try your friends tuner on your receiver.

Would this work or brick the box by using backup image of vu-zero usb and updating the vu solo2
