Will i get a signal

No the driver should be downloaded to box itself via plugin feeds

Did it load to box as i dont see it marked and unsure if you loaded it .

If you reboot box with turbo tuner connected and powered on do you now see the 2nd tuner listed?

If one box cannot access "feeds", you can download it on the "connected" box. However, you may need kernel modules etc, so you will need to read your logs for everything that was installed.

The other option is to download full image backup on the "connected" box. once it is fully setup. Make an image backup, flash the clone image on the "non-connected" box.

Many thanks Abu could you please help with Making an image backup, on usb stick coming up failed don't know if I am doing something wrong ?

You have to backup the image, not settings as those pictures are showing.

Edit:
On the plugins list on PLI, it is called Automatic fullbackup.

If you cant install from plugin feeds, download the IPK from here then install it:

Screenshots tip:
To take screenshots, just past this in your browser. Change the x in IP address to match your device. Right click and save.

Instruction not finished yet, work in progress before new thread is created. Process did not complete on my Arm device as it di not have bzip2.

Install "Automatic fullbackup" from plugin feeds/server.
The plugin will only work for PLI supported devices

Restart

Go into plugins and select Automatic Full Backup

Open/select the plugin.

Change/select where the location image backup will be created using left/right on remote.
Press Green to save

To manually create an image backup, press yellow

You will get two choices. Choose the one you want.
...Background mode - Continues in background
...Console mode - You see progress

If it it fails on Bzip2 missing error, it will install it. Exit and tray again and it should be fine. The image backup will be on the device you selected.
For example: /media/hdd/automatic_fullbackup

There is another plugin which seems a bit more straight forward to use, it is called backupsuite. It will create an image backup in
/media/hdd/fullbackup_receivername

Many thanks Abu for all your information backup suite looks the easiest solution but how do you create a file on a usb stick with the name backupstick
Or backupstick.txt
Just make a blank file on your usb stick named backupstick.txt

Return it to the receiver mount it if it is not already then run backupsuite.

ran into a problem after initialize usb stick in box
Usb will not open in laptop until you format it saying corrupted file

Format usb stick and drop in backupstick.txt file
Return to the vu-zero backupstick.txt file plus other files there but seem empty 🤔 tried all usual install options but coming up no files found

Try fat32 on stick then send in the backupstick.txt

Return drive to Zero dont initialise it just mount it via device manager.

You could even try run backupsuit without mounting as the image may automount the usb.

Format usb in fat 32 download backupsuite turn off box restart with usb stick in no joy
Could you tell me how to mount usb stick please 🤔

Is it mounted as /media/usb or /media/hdd

Try automatic full backup instead.

And can you remind me why the other receiver cannot connect to network.

Just for reference:
You are better off putting box to deep standby and then connecting a storage device. A bit anal, but always avoids issues. Same as when removing them when you have multiple ones.

Issue the command below and it will show you the mountpoints. You can also just use Filezilla and see.

df -Th

For me, the result was

Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

Openpli needs the mount/device manager download from the plugin feed, youll then have options to mount it.
Yes mounted usb still no joy i think if could download
backupsuite then install on the box it might work as am thinking it needs the plugin to download the backup where would I find backupsuite download ?
Cheers
