Which PVR receiver do you recommend?

I am looking for a sub £100 PVR receiver that I can add a USB hard drive at a later date. I am new to the satellite world so would like something easy to operate. I want it to watch some football and French language channels. I see that Technomate has a few that appear to fit the bill.
Any recommendations?
