I have been having problems with my Samsung smart tv dropping its wireless network settings every time its powered off.
Real pain in the arse having to put the password in everytime I wanted to use the network or smart hub on tv. I found a nice workaround using my sonos playbar.
My original config was at tv side a home plug feeding the playbar (sonos needs 1 wired connection or a hub coonection for system with sub woofer) the play bar has 2 rj45 in/out puts so I had the zgemma connected to the second of these and the tv relied on wi fi.

New config.

I did a way with the homeplug. Connected 1 of my sonos play 1 speakers to the nearby router. Fed my tv wired network from 1 output from the playbar and the zgemma from the other. Works flawlessly. Result :)

Yes the built in 100mbit switch can be a godsend at times.

It can also be a nightmare when you have a managed switch in your setup :)

Well done matey, I love Sonos
