Hi I was reading about teirs and they said there is a Guide in sticky by Ice2004 about tiers. I been trying to get that but cant find it can some post me a link please. I am looking for a Tier list which doesn't contan the porn channels.

i have a friend who kinda works in a warehouse with the tw sign above its door
i asked him if he could get me some cards
he told me that he could
following day he brought about 40 cards to me
some used some new
i unlocked all cards and read everyone of em
saved all the images
some had loads of tiers these are the important ones
can i post em here if i zero out the bk's ird's and cam id's?

should be ok do you know the names of the tiers?
Dont post the actual images. Just collate all the Tier8's from the various images and post this info. There is no info you need to blank inside a Tier08.

what are the expiry dates for TW just out of curiosity?
Its an expiry date for the actual tier. Most providers set it to some special date sometime far in the future. As DavidH says above, for TW its often 5B8C (12th Dec 2037)
The Rights date is the field that is used to control your right to view any particular tier. Thats the one you should set for 1-2 month in the future.
The Modification date should be set to the date that you last modified the rights date (so its always set to either the present or a past date - never set to a future date)

Would it be possible if you've still got the info as to what channels these are for?
The reason I ask is that I've only got one card and am having problems with my proggy as it only reads/writes when it wants to so it'd takes me days if not weeks to test them all, which brings me onto another question for anybody in the know....I'm using an Infinity USB Phoenix with a serial to usb cable, could this be the reason it's playing up, meaning would I be better off with using a dedicated serial to serial cable instead of the USB one? I'm sure I read somewhere that using USB messes about with the timings of the data sent/received or such like?? As it stands I never know whether the proggy will read or write at any given time.
Any help would be most apreciated.

p.s Have managed to get a rom11 working for now with all movies and sport but no setanta or asian

You need to get something with a serial port on, I used to use a usb to serial and had loads of trouble with my infinity only workin when it wanted.
Then i got a dell laptop with serial on and it works every time 100% efficient.
You can try playing with the speed of your usb to serial that helped me.
But theres no real way of sorting it perhaps a pcmcia to serial but there expensive. (I guess your on a laptop to).

I'm not using a laptop, it's just these are the cables it came with.
I'll get hold of a serial to serial cable and try that.

Well guys....sat down quitely for 3 hours read all the tuts and tier info posts...messed about and with a bit of help from ice (thanks mate) I am running....would like the tier for "At The Races" for pure n^l if any one has it.

sup d00dz, i have lots of glitched images so i thought i'd go through them one-by-one and test the tier info inside them... theres a lot of duds from the 51 tiers i tested and even one or two channels missing;
on the current CR3.3... babytv, setanta sports 1, 2 & golf are missing
on the virgin CR3.5... babytv is missing.
if anyone has the tier info for the missing setanta channels on CR3.3 --OR-- the tier info for babytv on both CR3.3 and CR3.5 (should be the same on both as its a premium channel) then PLEASE post it here!
