People have been doing that for years, I wouldn't be able to tell if they were playing Pokemon!
@Rat seems somewhat of an expert!Thing is its not just kids
Walking around the shopping center yesterday grown up were playing it lol you know because they stop at Poké Spots
and stop to catch a Pokemon
Never see out local Library so popular as that's our nearest Poké Spot
It's good fun though (Been joining in with the kids so yes I am playing it lol)
Batteries must be draining like mad.
I had a kids bowling party on the weekend and one kid was an inch away from walking into a lamp post.
All good fun I guess, not for me but if it floats your boat - whats the problem.

As a schoolboy my parents had a landline, probably around 1 in every 12 households did. Maybe about 1 in 20 households owned a car.
We played football, cricket and kerbie in the street. Went for bike runs or just went for a run. We even stepped aside for our elders, was called respect.
What a healthy bunch we were, our main worry was would our parents let us camp out over the fields at the weekend.
Thankfully things have progressed but not everything has got better. Can't walk safely down the street anymore without having someone coming towards with their face buried in their phone, completely unaware of reality. I am struggling walking as I'm awaiting knee replacement but find myself having to change direction cos the young ones won't move.
I may be coming across as an old fuddy duddy but nothing could be further from the truth. I have been repairing tech since 1980, television, video, satellite, consoles, phones and now do more micro soldering repairs on IBM and apple mac logic boards than anything else.
Reality should come first. Fantasy should be practiced in the comfort of home. I like to jump on the Xbox one now and then.
wasn't having a pop at you chpoint. I was having a moan at the whole idea that peoples' personal life and entertainment is being enacted in public and usually to the chagrin of passersby trying to get on with reality. I just wished that if someone is walking through a crowd, riding a pushbike or driving a car, they would just do that. Texting, facebooking or Pokemoning?? can be done later when it is safe to do so.
