tcp connection failure

i have a 250 modem with infinite on it and if i try to use ambit config tool to read mac it says tcp connection failure and when i connect with hyperterminal i get nothing on the screen but my network connections show i am connected to a modem and if i try logging into http://192.168.100.1 i cannot go to log in screen ie does nothing it

hate to be bearer of bad news m8, but it sound like u'll been brick!!! u probably didnt change the telnet login username and password

he could also be using the net aswell ie net page open while doing the 192..close everything down and then try m8
