T.V conection

I have a laptop with a svideo out socket on the back and he book say's that I can connect to a **.the problem I have is that I have gone into bios and changed from S.VID NTSC to PAL and back again and still have no luck getting it to work.I am using a scart lead and opperating on windows xp pro.Do you guy's haave any idea what to do next

I dont know if this helps but on my laptop I also had to change settings in the bios and on my keyboard there is a little green symbol for a **.

what I had to do was press ctrl and that symbol to toggle between the outputs..

dont know if that helps keep us posted..

alternatively your machine sounds relatively new contact the manufacturer they should give you pricise instructions.

Thanks Taff.Yes it is a new machine but the suport line is down till after the hols and I need it on the first of Jan.The insruction book is not very clear on the set up and mainly deals with external monitors and not **.This is through another port.I don't have a button as such but have a lot of function buttons.Will give these a go.Thanks again <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

We all hear of this kind of thing far too often. The manufactures etc are quite keen to take our conkers of us but provide very little support afterwards.
