If it now belongs to you, i'd just wipe it and reinstall the OS.Hey guys, I have a surface pro from work but they have put an administrator account on it so I cannot install any programs unless I log in as the administrator.
Is there any way around this?
Cheers
There possibly is?Unfortunately I have to hand it back in if I leave. Its basically a loan laptop but I want to install an NZB downloader but like I said it wont allow me to install anything. I though there maybe a less extreme method.
There may be a way around the admin password. Someone will probably let you know later, when they see this thread.Mmmm maybe, although there are some programmes on there installed from work that I use.
I will look at them and see if I can get them.
I'd strongly advise against this.
It'll more than likely be a sackable offence if you get found out (gross misconduct), especially if you're doing it for newsgroups.
Can you not get it to boot another operating system from a usb drive?
