Sami Flash - 3_6_11 f/w - Not working ?

Hi All

Got two 4001 box's with funs in, both are on s/w version 3_6_11 and both give 'card not inserted error'.

I have tried the new sami flash and it does not work for me ?

I have also tried deleting the first line in notepad and still no joy.

Do i need to force an update to 3.7 ? If so how is this done ??

I've had a few friends boxes going off last week when cc in my area went to latest software 3.7 , found that if they have had no update mod done then channels won't clear mate.

They need to be running latest software to work

To force update a pace you need to hold the power button until okay comes up then you wil see 4 little bars then press favourites , interactive , tv guide , tv in that order then ok , then it should force update

Tried holding power button, box goes through AP numbers as if updating then boots as normal, still on 3_6_11 though.

Pace 4001 and 4010 cannot be forced to update in this way. Ramraiders' post works for excw and telewest models.

4001 4010 , pull red jumper inside box ,

but u will have to reset net id + frq unless ur in pure

You will need to set the frequency regardless

And you should only be using these boxes in pure as they are davic boxes

Still same, box tunes but still on 3_6_11 s/w.

Has anyone got a 4001 with the new sami flash working on 3_6_11.

Little update, also just tried a working rom11 image and mosc, still same outcome- 'card not inserted'

Not happy Chappy....
