Well, I tried it and got an error concerning the codecs being used. I also tried it in FireFox, but this is doing nothing so far..

This works perfectly, I can see your cam on the drive and the back of your house.
I take it these are the only two cameras you are using?

Well, I'm still not having any joy :err:
I can't help thinking it's something simple (other than me)
I've upgraded IE to version 8 beta 2
The first time I tried this, I got the activeX download page. Great I thought, allowed the download and I can see it in the list of addons for IE.
It is listed as webcamX.ocx
Is this the correct file, or should I have something else too, maybe a codec if the dvr is compressing the stream??
It still hangs when I try to access the page.
Even taskmanager struggles to end the task! I have to click end task and then the red cross in the right hand corner as well!!
Close, but no cigar lol

The .ocx is driving the CAB you download. Its the interface if you will.
The cab contains the codec. It seems to take a long time for it to work - at least 3 - 4 mins. I presume this is so it get everything it needs from the device. But it does work, I got to see the back of your house etc.
Do you have another machine you can try this on?

I think I might try with the old xp machine tomorrow.
