new to tomtom 7

just finally got to install tomtom7 on my HTC diamond

does anyone know how you can make tomtom7 work on other PDAs as currently mine just flags its wrong devide when I try to intall it on my othe htc phones

The HTC Diamond uses a different tomtom installer then all the other phones mate. Just get another cab instaler and try. also, which method are you using to get the activation done?

Hi Magic77,

I agree with devil666x. You will also need to be aware that the resolution of the screen of the HTC will also have an impact on what cab file chosen.

That is, there are at least two different cab files for HTC's. One for QVGA 240 x 320 and one for VGA/WVGA 480 x 640 / 800.

NB: after you download the attached file, change the extention from .rar to .cab and copy it to your HTC memory card and install it from there. It works on my Omnia.

Forgot to say. The above cab file is for QVGA - 320 x 240 screen resolution.
