Motorcylists who enjoy country lanes

The powers that be are wanting to enforce a 50mph national speed limit with obvious consequences for all of us. The countryside will be bristling with anti-fun average speed cameras and snipers in the trees etc. Hit this link and sign the petition:

Not sure about a 50mph National speed limit, but I drive a lot of country lanes and 50 mph would be way too fast for most of them. Why would motorcyclists want to go any faster and risk their lives and the live of others.

I'm not against speed, 70mph is too low for motorways, but you need to adjust speed to the conditions.

btw these Government petitions are a complete waste of time.

Agreed there are some country roads where 60 mile an hour is ridiculous, been on some that are 60 where yer lucky if you can do 30, but there are a lot of others that are wide open and where 60 is a fair speed
