Is it you were comparing what the 2 have won in the first 5 years so i thought i would ask you about the spending Lafa did in the first five years compared to SAF! You find it ok to compare the first five years of both managers yet when i ask about spending you find that stupid i think i know what stupid is now!

but this is not the first time you have had a strong finish to the premiership.. you had a really strong one in the 2005-2006 season where you finished 3rd and We finished 2nd but only because we had great goal difference..
there was talk about if you carried that form to next season you'd be real title contenders... but you didnt...

The list may not be spot on dave (i tried to edit that in) but the point remains Rafa's signings aint been the best. Torres is the only real world class player he's signed, unless of course he signed Alonso ....? And the amount of players hes brought in only to sell them again is unbelievable. Major difference is Ferguson signed just 24 players and won the league after 5 years (which was his intention). Rafa's signed 60 players and has yet to win the league. Would you prefer benitez bought 10 numpties or 1 Torres.
