advice guys ...
Just won item on ebay for 58 quid ..
looking more into the seller ..he is located in Lithuania ..but the item is in London !! .. he has ZERO feedback , his account is 2 week old ...
he wont answer my emails ...
I have NOT YET paid the 58 quid via paypal cos i am worried its a scam , i personally dont think he will deliver the item !

I know paypal do protect buyers AFTER payment ...but this is a long process can take upto a month to get refunded .
What do u reckon guys ... ? LINK to won item ..

Sennheiser Ie8 used once but 10/10! on eBay (end time 13-Jun-10 12:17:31 BST)

Smells fishy to me.....

You'll also only get your money back IF he has funds in his PayPal account, which he won't.

Just dont pay for them, then when he/she contacts you find out what the score is, or apologise say you made a mistake blah blah give the bidder below you a second chance offer its only a pound less.

If your worried and he does not make contact then Do Not Pay Him. Your in the driving seat not him.

I see that he has PayPal as a payment option so you would be covered if paying that way. But the dispute method will not be allowed to run before the 10th day.

Send him a message and ask him what his intention is re sending and where his location is. Let him know he needs to make contact with the detail before you will pay.

Also get his details from the ebay process as you can given the sale is up and running.

If you need any more help then let us know. I, as am sure others, have plenty of experience with ebay & paypal.

I thought paypal changed that some time ago. I was under impression that paypal now refund and claim it back from the seller.

I would avoid these anyway unless they were coming from a genuine shop. I used to get a load of stuff from China and these earphones were one of the items available.
I've got some knock of ones myself and they work great. But they only cost me £10 including shipping.

That is true but I guess they still have to track the person down.

As for chrispeters original post and his response from ebay then don't pay. The only issue here is that if he did pay via PayPal it would be PP's problem not eBay's.

send him a message saying your in london for the week and could you locally pick the item up. If he then sends a reply saying yes heres my address, send another saying you had to cancel your trip to london due to blah blah blah. maybe alittle reasuring if seller was prepared for pick, they proberly will post.

He can't do that, ugh should'nt be doing that. Report his email to eBay, don't take any crap from them, and let them deal with him. Its his 1st sale and probably the way he intends to operate going forward.
