is the equipment easy to install? I would imagine I would need an electrician to d some of this work?
As said in other posts it is reasonably easy to install.
If you want the panel hard wiring into the mains or putting on its own circuit then I recomend that you get an electrician to do this bit for you.
If you fitted the panel, you could get a spark to install an unswitched fused spur next to it so that all you would need to do is put the fuse in when you've finished and comissioned it using the battery.
The rest of the wiring via alarm cable will be only 12V.
