thanks dirtscout, proves audio is being transmitted to the box,, being a electronic engineer we work on fault finding, so we go back from fault and back track ,,, so its deffo 1000% software how the box handles audio codec,, if i plug box in via the video out ports on back.. yellow , red , white,, i get audio from tv its when i use hdmi,, give it a try im using h1,, and i get audio fine from that., so its audio codec to hdmi,,, ac3 a-52 is not being transcoded, tellin me its software as no way its hardware as was working before,,

so issue is HDMI

ive downloaded oscam-svn11392-mips-tuxbox-oe2.0-webif-Distribution.tar.gz , which i assume is the right one..but when i ftp to tmp folder to install i cannot install it..it has to be a bh.tgz in tmp folder..

I normally copy over the binary file oscam and chmod to make it executable

I have attached the binary file rename to just oscam (take the .txt out)

overwrite existing one on your box

hmmmm..i have replaced the oscam.conf in the "config" folder with this one you posted changed the .txt to .conf, changed the attributes to 755 but nothing happens when i start oscam11391..

this is the actually binary file not conf file
replace the binary file normally found in /usr/bin or depends which image .. if you want I can remote onto your machine and have a look

I installed oscam_atv_emu1.2 11353 from plugins softcam downloads
I used cccam to oscam converter
I pasted in my n line in the top box and selected n line conversion and saved the oscam.server file it created
I copied this over the oscam in var/keys (ftp to box) overwriting the one in the folder var/keys/oscam folder
I started up oscam in softcam panel but it just freezes everything
Can someone please tell me were I am going wrong ?

Never used openATV but with openVIX the oscam server/config/user files go in etc/tuxbox/config

remove line details from oscam.server

config files on open atv go in /usr/keys/oscam_atv

All softcam configuration files go in /usr/keys on OpenATV

becareful using this patch,! myself im a little confused, how this works, when u look in logs to oscam some weird s**t going on,! audio is back when using oscam, seems weired that oscam gets it back up and running, little strange how oscam site went down few weeks ago now this,, a patch is leaked within days of this, and the stuff thats going on within oscam, seems odd,,

not found but still decrypting,!!! very very weired,!! yet shows in oscam as ok,, now only thing that can do this is oscam patch,, becareful guys,!! something is not right here,!!!

2.oscam website went down for 5 days, litrally days before this happened, coincidence i dont think so,!!
seems weired to me, i might be being paranoid but watch what your doing.!!!

3.mgcamd wont work or cccam,, yet oscam does,!! after website goes down,, another coincidence,!!

4.it just so happens that virgin change audio with pids and within 1 week oscam went down before the virgin pid changed and patch for so called oscam was released, and same day streamboard opens back up theres a new oscam rev released,!! ermmm.!! seems little bit odd that 3 things all combined makes me think are virgin , sky trying to catch people by using oscam as bait,!!!

someone with more knowledge, could do with looking into this more, how it is working,, dont get me wrong , its nice someone building patch,, but
the way oscam is re-acting is weired,!!!

Except the script i used patches the lamedb file and not oscam. Just checked my logs and everything seems normal.
Oscam wasnt even installed when i ran the patch, i tried it with mgcam first
As mgcam does not get updated anymore it falls behind with the times....
Ill look into the mg_cfg later and see if any changes with that will get mgcam back up amd running

What box have you got and what image are you running on it ?

I'm running openvix on an xtrend 10k, I woke up this morning and most channels were black I ran ABM and all came back on it has not froze since takes a second or 2 to clear when changing channel other than that it seems OK,

ok replaced oscam in usr/bin....rescanned using ABM ...started oscam11391 but i still get dark screens..seems like it doesnt work on blackhole 3.0.4 A image...might try another image..which image does this work om ?

Open ATV 6.1 would be my preference .. what box do you have ?

can you post log files as well please, you can get this from the web page of oscam

not thats used for reading keys - which you are not - I would disable emu in reader section

it does find the key file
