Had this running for about 3 hours now very fast boot up quickest i've seen
i like the colour scheme, easy on the eyes for me and the picture quality is spot on
no blank screens when changing channels quick
fast scanning picked all the channels up.

Recorded an hour to the Hdd but as soon as i stopped the recording i got the budgies
in me box and had to reboot.
The recording played back with no sync or stuttering issue's, i will try recording with
the other camds and let you know how i get on.

Also noticed there is 2 "restart epg" options, there is one in the system menu aswell
so i just edited the "shellexec.conf" file to take it out.

The image is superb. Smooth with no glitches, great picture quality. only niggle is the Voklume / Playtime not being available but thats just a minor problem.

Volume/Playtime fix

OK, I found a fix for the volume/playtime problem.

Download the attatched file and overite the lcd3.png file in:

share/tuxbox/lcdd/icons

with the the new one.

Great image btw, reallylike the newlook yweb.

did you chmod 755 the files ?

please open the keys folder and upload all files into the
var/keys/ folder first part done very easy

now open the bin folder and put all files into the
var/bin/ folder then make files evocamd, mgcamd, newcamd,
set permissions/chmod to 755

restart the box and then goto settings menu and then select
drivers / camd selection

and in there select the camd i use mgcamd but its up to you

wait about 1 minute and all should be fine

whatever program you used to put the files onto the box will allow you to chmod 755 (right click the file and it's either attributes or chmod)

Just flashed his image tonight. Recording and playback set up and working ok. Picture quality superb chanel scan working. Seems very stable I'll keep it on for a while i think. Another triumph guys

All I can say is this is a great image and at last I have all channels working. Many Thanks for the help and keep up the good work.

PS sorry I am such a Din on images I have not tried before...
