I contacted the eBay supplier of the desired PC who advised that one of the Video cards they're prepared to fit for me is the ATI Radeon HD 6750 1GB GDDR5 for £78. How much better is this than the HD2000?

The 6770 is £93.75.

A lot better. The HD 3000 performs slightly better than the ATI HD 5450.
