I plugged in my Ch***s box and only got FTA channels. Left it for a few mins and then the channels I am subscribed to came on.

how do you modify the key.txt file? - I thought I read that notepad will not allow update of file in the correct syntax?

Last week, I just downloaded and ftp'd the new file on DB & rebooted.

can anybody provide a link to downoad the new .txt file, so I can do the same?

Apologies for what is a double post.

I'm on NTL in Dublin. I used the image that rickets (I think, thanks mate!) posted there last week, because I was fecking about with the codes with the remote and I was have having no joy. I can access the box via ftp - can I just change the Keylist.txt file with in var --> keys folder? And if so, do I have to do anything else if I do this. I presume I have to reboot?

If you have tuxcommander you can edit them with your remote

The key I needed was the 2nd one in your image. The differing character was the 10th one. Could you tell me why it needed to change from D to 2? And how to work it out in future.

jesus ok reset the cam to another cam or common interface restart that leave 30 sec then goback to Evo
also just check the camd.cfg file AU line is set to 01

i edited camd_cfg, there was a 3rd option 02 au auto
that did nothing too so put it back to 01
